President Welcomes Participants Summit
President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is scheduled to welcome the heads of state and heads of government of ASEAN member countries or its representative present at the summit ASEAN. The leaders of the country's Central Council is scheduled to arrive in Jakarta at 08.00 pm and was greeted immediately by the President.
After the photo session in the main lobby of the Central Council, the heads of state / government will attend the opening ceremony at Assembly Hall, which directly followed by a series of meetings.
On the first day of the summit, ASEAN leaders are also scheduled to attend three informal meetings, the informal meeting with representatives of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA), with youth representatives, and with representatives of civil society organizations.
At 19:00 pm, President Yudhoyono will receive the leaders of ASEAN countries in a dinner.
