De Puniet Hope Restored On Time

PARIS - Randy de Puniet was a race against time to restore the injury. Pramac Racing Drivers' hopes to be recovered on time in order to perform optimally in the series enclosures, in the French GP this weekend.

As is known, since the beginning of this season De Puniet failed to demonstrate the performance of neat because the condition is not yet fit, following a metal pen that is still embedded in his left knee because of a severe accident at the German MotoGP at the Sachsenring in July last year.

Now, after approximately nine, the pen was finally removed through surgery he underwent on Thursday yesterday. French rider that was currently undergoing serious restoration process to be performed on the race in his hometown.

"I've undergone a series of tests and I am glad that the test results showed no problems with bones, ligaments or tendons," explained De Puniet as cited by MCN, on Tuesday (10/05/2011).

"The pain I felt after the operation still more because of the difficulty of lifting the metal pen. Doctors even have to spend the energy to pull it out. I still need a break to heal inflammation in the scar, "he continued.

"Now, I was waiting to hear from the doctor to find out, whether he has a machine that could speed up my healing process," said former LCR Honda racer this.
